Ross and District's Pinford Trial on the 12th October suffered two unrelated incidents, the organisers halted the event after the second. The site was fairly dry and the weather was hot and sunny.
Ian Evitt was bruised and sore after inverting his Crossle whilst competing on a section in the woods, and Steve Court's passenger Roger Brunt suffered a cut to the head as a result of the Facksimile rolling whilst travelling beween sections. The Air Ambulance was called to Roger, but they took off without him, having attended to his cut on site. He travelled to hospital by car for stitching, and was able to drive home to Trowbridge later the same evening. Ian was able to get home to Cheshire, as a passenger, and is sore but OK.
