It’s all come down to the last weekend.
The Bustard has finished. We have a Navigator’s Champion – Jamie Woolley with a perfect score. Commiserations to Zak Linham who missed out by only two points. The Navigator finishing higher today took the spoils.
However the Driver’s title is still up in the air. After leading from the start of the season, Chris Woolley could be pipped at the post.
After winning the Bustard, John Davies has three maximum points scores, plus two retirements. Chris Woolley finished third overall on the Bustard, that difference in points could make the difference.
If John takes maximum points on the Knutsford Targa then he wins the Driver’s title, for the third year! If John takes second Championship points, he wins the title based on Class positions. But if John fails to finish, or is lower than second in the points, Chris wins.
It’s down to the wire.
John really wants to take the Championship, again, so is currently driving from Worthy Farm in Somerset to Parkwood Adventure Park near Bradford, in Yoirkshire. That’s dedication!
A thrilling finale, who will take the Gold Star win?
On the Silver Star Championship, Neil and Aled Jones will take the Driver’s and Navigator’s Championships respectively by Marshaling on the Knutsford Targa.
