Event Report
An event with fairly high attrition and many penalties.
Owen Turner and Gary Evans won the event by over 3 minutes despite a Test maximum!
However Ethan Davies and Nick Bloxham were edging in front of Owen/Gary until they suffered electrical/ECU problems and a small fire. What could have been. Some work required for the Kent Forestry Targa next weekend.
Bleddyn Thomas and Sam Wheeler took a fantastic result with 9th overall. This cements Sam’s lead in the overall Navigators’ Championship, but he can still be caught, there are still three rounds left.
Ben Pritchard and David Ginn both took points scores, David moving to second in the Drivers’ Championship, but it’s tight at the top.
Commiserations to all the retirees, I’m sure we’ll see you out there again soon.
