Event Report
Ian Bell ended up a dominant winner of the David Ayres Sporting trial, near Boscastle. Tom Bricknell cleaned the first round, but as the driving rain arrived section were relayed to offer multiple challenges with both trickling and sheer power been used. Bell extended his lead over the rest of the day to finish ahead of Duncan Stephens who made a number of small mistakes. Bricknell slipped back to third just ahead of his step father Roger's Facksimile. Jon Moores won the intermediate car in his brand new car in a fantastic fifth overall from George Watson in eighth overall. John Cole had a fantastic day to win the novice class completing the top ten. The weekend saw the debut of Jon Moores new MSR car after a two year wait. After a frantic night on Friday night finishing the car off till the early hours of Saturday morning he was delighted to have no issues on Sunday and win the class despite having no seat padding and been very battered and bruised.
