John Fack won the re-scheduled Charles Pollard trial by a single point from Josh Veale. On a dry day with high tyre pressures 6 long sections were set out with the grass just long and lush enough to trip up competitors. Despite an 8 on his start hill Fack excelled in the first round to take a a 5 point lead which he was not to lose all day despite Veale’s best efforts to claw those points back in the afternoon. Simon Kingsley completed the podium one point ahead of Ian Wright with positions 3rd to 11th separated by just 10 points.
Nick Speed was the best blue class competitor holding a comfortable margin over Mark Howse, with the ever improving Darren Underwood winning the Novice award.
