Event Report
Yet another win for Rupert North in his Suzuki Alto, but at the lunch-break he was tied with Trevor Moffatt and both were being beaten on index by Mark Hoppe.
Conditions kept changing, with rain showers and sunny intervals – this is Wales and it’s summer so the rain (liquid sunshine) is warmer!
In Class 1 Rupert had a storming afternoon, Trevor Moffatt had a bad one and Henry Kitching just beat him for second spot.
Class 2 had a Yugo win (that must be a first) but Nigel Jones and Sion Rhisiart sharing a Fiat Seicento had been so close to Garry Preston but retired after a few hills with a split radiator.
Class 3 was very close early on and Mark Hoppe just managed to hold off the challenge from Barrie Parker.

The 58th Cymru Trial will be held at its traditional site, offering varied terrain and spectacular Snowdonia views. Another event not to miss!
