Event Report
A lack of marshals meant that the organisers, BTRDA, split the entry into two, and asked the competitors to marshal for each other. Drizzle during the morning affected the sports cars, running first, more than the saloons and specials, who finished the event in bright, if cold, sunshine.
This meant that Malcolm Livingston and Dave Mosey were left to dispute the specials class, and overall position, without the usual close attention from Willie Keaning, Chris Chapman, and Steve Morten in their sports cars. Both Livingston and Mosey collected a couple of penalties, but Mosey took overall victory by just 4 seconds, with Keaning a distant 11 seconds further back in third place.
This confirmed Alastair Moffatt, with event 5 victories, as champion for 2021.
