John Davies won the Shepherd Compello BTRDA Gold Star Championship for the third time in 2023. It’s fitting that he (and Nick Bloxham in the picture) are currently the main picture  (Courtesy of Andy Manston at M&H Photography, plus most of the other pictures published). The best Targa driver in the country? Who could take the 2024 title?

However the picture will have to be changed during the year as under 25 Navigator Jamie Woolley took the Gold Star Navigator’s win.

Is Jamie the best Targa Navigator in the UK? His title in 2023 indicates this to be the case. Who can knock him off his throne?

Jamie was pictured with his father, Chris, who had the Driver’s title snatched from his hands at the last event of the year. You can do it in 2024 Chris

We can’t forget the winners of the Silver Star titles – Neil Jones and Aled Jones.

A dominant performance, winning all three Targas they entered. Their picture will have to become the main picture at some time.

Silver Star is for those who want to compete in smoother Targas and probably compete in other disciplines. Neil also won the BTRDA Autosolo Championship in 2023 and BTRDA Allrounders (3 disciplines over the year) in the same car. Impressive.

An ideal place to prove yourselves Nationally in more standard cars.

Which Club won the Shepherd Compello BTRDA Targa Championship “Targa of the Year”?

The decision was based on votes from Championship Contenders.

It’s close,it always is. Every BTRDA Championship Targa received votes. It came down to one vote!

Congratulations to Knutsford & District Motor Club for winning Targa of the Year for 2023.

The standard was extremely high in 2023, who will take Targa of the Year in 2024?

The BTRDA Targa Championship is proving a great learning ground for Under 25s with 9 Under 25 Navigators fighting it out in 2023.

Jamie Woolley took the Under 25 Navigator title in 2023, plus the overall title. Similar to 2022 with Sam Weller doing similar.

There’s an Under 25 Driver’s title, won by Ethan Davies in 2023.

Come on out and play all you Under 25s and show what you can do.
