Dave Rance won his first British championship sporting trial on Sunday at the November sporting trial, and second BTRDA trial of the year. Rance excelled all day with a new engine on his birthday ahead of Ian Bell and Roland Uglow who could have tied but for hitting a nine marker. Richard Roberts finished an excellent fifth overall on a day that started dry but rained during the afternoon to win the intermediate class from Ian Rodman. Arthur Carroll once again won the novice class.
