Event Report
Ian Bell won his ninth trial at the final event of the season, the Gloster. Having returned to the old Frocester site near Stroud, Bell led all day to extend his lead to nine points by the end of the day in dry grippy conditions. Roland Uglow snatched third in the MSA championship from Josh Veale with second overall on the day, beating champion Thomas Bricknell on a tie break. Josh Veale had a torrid morning to finish thirteenth overall. Goerge Watson won the intermediate class in fourth overall despite a costly eight on the first round from Andy Wilks in sixth, who secured his first REIS ASWMC championship with seventh overall, prior to promotion for next year. Hill one on the first round proved critical with only six competitors climbing passed a costly eight post on a very tight scoring day. Passed multiple champion John Fack finished sixth a point behind Peter McKinney who was trying some alternative listed tyres. Richard Sharp won the novice class for the final time from Alan Ede who was back in his own Kincraft following a substantial engine rebuild over the last couple of months to grab third in the REIS ASWMC championship.
