Event Report

With a selection of new hills and the ground in prime condition after the recent wet weather, Rodger Bricknell, in his live axle Facsimile, showed the modern independent cars how it's done by winning the David Ayers trial on 0 points. Thomas Bricknell finished second on 12 points whilst Roland Uglow continued his good form completing the podium in third place. Ian Bell, one of the championship contenders, would have been second but missing an 11 gate on one of his last hills dropped him from second down to fifth. Jason Daniels continued his good form by once again winning the blue class and finishing eighth overall dropping 31 points. George Watson took second in the class for the second time in as many days finishing 10th on 51 points. In the Green Class Ian Fullwood had an excellent day finish eleventh overall on 51 points to take the class win.

Event Details

Mike Wevill reports that the club have listened to last years feedback and have, with the help of experienced competitors, cut three new section in the field and are looking to avoid the troublesome sections from last year.
