Car Trials “best event” 2018 awarded to Woolbridge Motor Club for their Golden Springs trial

The Car Trials committee are delighted to announce that Woolbridge Motor Club’s Golden Springs trial, held in March, has been nominated to receive the Mike Stephens Trophy for the best event in the qualifying rounds of this year’s championship. The club’s determination not to be outdone by February’s harsh weather, which delayed the original running date by 3 weeks, resulted in a fabulous trial in perfect conditions. The club’s infectious enthusiasm to be “best of breed” rubbed off on competitors and marshals too and the award is well-deserved.
