Wyre Forest
Event Report
Nigel Weeks was delighted to win his first National Car Trial ever at the reorganised Wyre Forest Car Trial. Having been postponed in June due to waterlogged ground, conditions were extremely dry. Dave Oliver led all day but broke a driveshaft two sections from the end. Andy Baverstock won the new car class from Derek Barnes and Nick Pollitt who was driving a diesel Fabia. The front wheel drive class saw an extremely close battle all day with 2008 BTRDA Drive driver Julian Archard winning the class by just a single point ahead of Neil Mackay who was point ahead of Simon Harris. With Weeks winning overall, Steve Courts won the rear wheel drive class ahead of Oliver. Tim Lakin was the winner in class 4.
