Wye Valley Trial
Event Report
Duncan Stephens, driving his Vauxhall Nova, won the Wye Valley Car Trial in extreme temperatures which tested cars, crews and marshals. Stephens slowly extended his lead in the class over Barrie Parker to win the event by the closest margin in years. Thomas Bricknell wheeled out his classic trials prepared Escort for BTRDA Allrounders points and won the highly modified class to finish very close behind in second overall. Bill Moffatt made least mistakes in the rear wheel drive class to win the class for the first time in nearly ten years, also in a close third overall, while Dave Walker won the new car class for the first time finishing seventh overall in a recently purchased Corsa.
