Dave Oliver made it 4 wins in a row at Burton Dassett to match fellow Imp driver Bill Moffatt's string of successes in the early '90's. Dave held off the challenges of fwd pair Barrie Parker (Scirocco) and Garry Preston (Fiat 127) as well as Steve Courts competing on home ground.
Graeme Jones, the Drive 09 MN winner finished fourth in class, and Sophie Bennett fifth. Initially conditions were extremely wet and slippery, so both found the sections very challenging under the watchful eyes of Motorsports Future's John Moffatt. Things dried out slightly during the rest of the morning enabling them to develop the skills they had learnt at the training day in March. A shower later on in the day made traction very difficult to find again, but both improved tremendously during the day and thoroughly enjoyed their first event in the six event program.
