HCC Wales Car Trial
Event Report
Barrie Parker won a very dry HCC Wales Car Trial in glorious sunshine. Parker slowly extended his lead in the class over Nick Pollitt. The front wheel drive class saw the battle of the day with Neil Mackay, Rupert North and John Moffatt all leading during the day. Moffatt held a distant third at lunch, but a much improved afternoon performance saw him take the lead when it mattered, win the class by a point and hold onto his championship chances following a poor performance the day before. Dave Oliver had a big win in the highly modified class, but could only manage second overall.

Event Details
Day 2 of the July Welsh Weekend will take us once more to Clwyd Vale MC's "other" site near Dyserth, first trialled last year. We are assured an enthusiastic welcome and a great event in super countryside. Early entries are to be encouraged for this ever-popular event.
