HCC Wales Car Trial
Event Report
Rupert North won the second event of the weekend, the HCC Wales car trial near Prestatyn, in slippery conditions. North totally dominated his small class to win by nearly a hundred points.
Henry Kitching and Mark Hoppe continued their customary close new car class battle and after 22 hills were tied, but two star climbs by Kitching gave him the class and second overall. Dave walker finished an encouraging third in class.
Despite a last round slip up Dave Oliver lead the rear wheel drive class by eleven point from Barrie Parker and Kevin Roberts who struggled initially with a poor running engine. Gemma Weeks finished just inside the top ten overall for the first time in her maiden season.
