Reigning Double Car Trials Champion Barrie Parker got off to a good start at the season opener, continuing his winning streak with another 1st overall. Heavy rain all morning made the ground extremely muddy and slippery all day, resulting in most competitors tackling the hills at max revs with full wheelspin from all 32 start lines.
Parker, driving his MR2 Roadster, was chased hard all day by returning past Champion Nick Pollit in his Saxo VTR.
Event Details
Woolbridge's Golden Springs trial is now our season opener and as such may attract more entries with some of us seeking to blow the cobwebs off our trial car? As ever, early entries will be appreciated by the organisers.
