Gaby Mohr Trial

Event Report

Duncan Stephens won the Gaby Mohr car trial for the first time after making his debut at the trial eighteen years ago, winning his sixth trial of the season.

Stephens led all day in his Dutton Melos, ahead of Rupert North, who got married a fortnight ago. North also led his class all day ahead of Neil Mackay to take second overall. Nick Pollitt was very surprised to win the new car class after late rain enabled him to sneak ahead of ANWCC champion Henry Kitching on the last round, who beat the Peugeot diesel of Gareth Williams by four points. Steve Courts and Barrie Parker had a day long battle in the class to finish just three points apart in Courts' favour.

Event Details

Resuming our championship trials after the summer recess, Wolverhampton & South Staffs Motor Club are running this event at their now-established site near Bridgnorth.  An early entry is welcomed by the organisers and will be rewarded by a discounted fee.
