Event Report

Barrie Parker finished forty five points clear in the new car class, winning the event for the second consecutive year and third time since the event first ran in 1959. Duncan Stephens won the front wheel drive class on just eleven points in a very close second overall ahead of John Moffatt, both driving Nova's. Dave Oliver won the rear wheel drive class ahead of Steve Courts who had travelled to the venue for the first time in thirty years. John Ludford won the highly modified class in his classic trials Marlin. Aiden Reynard, sharing Rupert North's Mini, won the junior award.
