Event Report

 

John Fack swapped his trials car for Sylva Riot and wins Warwickshire Drivers autosolo comfortably.

 

Fack dominated from the start of the event and open out a twenty-two second lead after the nine complex tests from David Wyer in a similar motorbike engined Sylva Striker. James Newbold led the under 1400cc class until the last test when a shunt let Kevin Hardwick in for the class win. Ian Massey won the over 1800cc class in his Mondeo from Carlos Cardero by sixteen seconds finishing an excellent fifth overall in a big car. The intermediate capacity class was close with Dave Walker eventually winning by three seconds from Mark Chadwick.
