With 2 drivers tying on zero penalties – you would expect them to win, however, this was not the case this year. The 2 zeros were scuppered by the performance of Steve Courts dropping a single point and therefore making the index of performance calculation swing in the favour of Tim Dovey in class A – who had a significant gap to his competitors.

Dave Oliver used all his experience to outgun the RWD cars and do enough to take the overall win. 95 points dropped for the Imp was enough to secure this.
Lowest points of the day though went to Tim Dovey in the Renault Clio on 71, just ahead of son Charlie on 73 and Mark Hoppe on 74 – a happy day for WOolbridge MC members with a 1,2,3 in class A
