BTRDA MSF taster day with The Under 17 Car Club
MSF was in action again on the 27th March 2011 at an air field supporting The Under 17 Car Club and showing them a taster of grassroots motorsport, specifically an AutoSOLO.
The morning session saw Sophie Bennett (2009 BTRDA Drive winner) showing a group of Under 17 Car Club members the way in which to drive the course and what they should be thinking about whilst having a go. With smiles on every ones faces the group was able to get their hands on the iconic micra and have a few runs around the course. Emphasis was on each individual improving their own time, and this was acheived in every case, one of which showed a 24 second improvement.
The Under 17 Car Club members loved the day and were keen to get involved. We received lots of positive feedback from very enthusiastic members and their guardians.
