The British and Reis BTRDA sporting trials championship recommenced Sunday with the Robin Jager in Cumbria with Simon Kingsley and son Matthew led all day to become the seventh different winner of the year. On an exceptionally low scoring day Kingsley finished half Mike Salton’s score who was top live axle, with fellow local driver Bryan Walker completing the podium just a point back. MSA championship leader Andy Wilks finished fourth, extending his lead, from a close contingent of George Watson, Barry Hogg and Roland Uglow who had won the trial the last two years. John Cole won the independent blue class with Alan Baker winning the live axle blue class. Bill Rhodes was top clubman in ninth overall.
