Uglow wins fourth trial

Roland Uglow swept through the bluebells at the Four Turnings to show a pair of clean wheels to all retaining the trial trophy. The bluebells and garlic proved even slippier than normal with tough hills laid the pressures were rapidly dropped but Uglow still dropped 100 points. Jerome Fack borrowed brother John car to run close just five points behind. Meanwhile George Watson completed the podium. Third to tenth were covered by just ten points. Roger Bricknell won the red live axle, and David hailes the blue live axle in tenth overall. John Cole won the blue independent with Sandy Veale in eighth as top rookie. Form man of recent trials Richard Sharp finished outside the top ten overall disappointingly.
