On the Gaby Mohr PCT, if ground conditions warrant it, there will be one or two hills with a stop and restart included. Classic Trialists are well used to this idea, but although not the first time it has ever been used on a Production Car Trial, it will be a new one for the BTRDA and British championships.
Cars will approach a line across the course, and have to stop astride this line. Once stopped, the marshal will lower a flag and the car should move forward. The rear wheels of the car must cross the line within ten seconds with a penalty being applied if this doesn't occur. The car then proceeds up the hill/section in the normal way.
