British Championship leader, Garry Preston, enhanced his reputation as the competitor to beat this year by winning the Wye Valley PCT on 24th June. Some very testing hills in damp conditions at the Ross and District Motor Sports venue brought the good drivers to the fore. Neil Mackay inherited the Class A win in his Fiat Panda, Carl Talbot won Class B in another Panda, Nigel Weeks drove his Imp to Class C victory and Tim Lakin had a brilliant day in his Marlin in a very competitve Class D to pip the Imps of Steve Courts and Dave Oliver.
