HCC Wales Car Trial
Event Report
A delighted Henry Kitching starred at the HCC Wales Car Trial, on Sunday, to take his maiden overall win at national level.
Local driver Brian Roberts pushed Kitching hard for overall on sections that dried significantly as the day passed to finish a close second overall.
The front wheel drive class saw the battle of the day with Dave Oliver snatching the class in the last few hills by a single point from Roger Holder and Rupert North.
John Wadsworth took the new car class after Kitching's brilliant drive.

Event number 2 of the July Welsh Weekend – the HCC Wales Car Trial at Newmarket Road, Dyseth, a relatively new site which offers variety and challenging hills as always from CVMC. Once again, early entries will be appreciated.
