Barrie Parker rectified the previous day's error and won the Derwydd car trial, leading all day. Meanwhile Henry Kitching nursed his car and drove very conservatively, cruising to second overall and his maiden British car trials championship having won the BTRDA Gold Star eleven months ago. Again Rupert North won his class to finish third overall, just ahead of Kevin Roberts who had repaired his car overnight ready for the twisty hills that proved remarkably dry. John Wadsworth finished second in the new car class after Trevor Moffatt made a couple of errors during the last round.

This event is, of course, the second of our September Welsh Weekend offering.
