Staffordshire Knot Autotests
Event Report
Malcolm Livingston won the Staffordshire Knot Autotest becoming the third overall winner of the first three rounds of the British championship after a daylong battle with previous multiple champion Alastair Moffatt. By the end of twenty one tests they were just nine seconds apart with Moffatt unable to close the gap after a couple of uncharacteristic mistakes. Paul Fobister got the better of arch rival Dave Evans to complete the podium. Dave Mosey won the mini class in fifth overall, while Scotland's Gordon Glendinning won the large saloon class competing south of the boarder for the first time in over fifteen years ahead of his proteges in ninth overall. Meanwhile, Ian Chapman won the sports car class after son Chris' clutch fell to pieces late on to finish seventh overall.
