CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL IN NORTHERN IRELAND
Added: 21st June 2010
Following recent polls at trials, and a committee meeting it has been decided that the final in January will be hosted by the Sporting Trials Car Club, in Northern Ireland.
Chairman Clive Gracey has very greatfully accepted the invitation to host the final, having made the trip to England for the final for the last thirty four years! The venue has been arranged just outside Larne, and the hotel is likely to be within 10miles on Saturday 15th January.
POSSIBLE FERRY ROUTES:
Belfast - Stranraer
Larne - Cairnryan = Slow boat that sails what ever the weather it appears
Belfast-Birkenhead = Prone to not sailing due to weather - didnt in 2006
Holyhead - Dublin
From Larne the trials site will be about 5miles, and the hotel 10miles. Belfast City airport or International Airport are about 20mins away too.
