Sporting Trials at Chatsworth Rally Show again
Added: 7th June 2010
A BTRDA team of Julian Fack, Ian Rodman, Josh Veale (with Dave Rance's Crossle) and Steve Courts all attended the Chatsworth Rally show over the weekend.
For the third year running driving lessons were provided, and following the success of last year passenger rides were once again offered. Saturday saw 16 lessons, and 37 rides, while Sunday saw 19 lessons and 49rides, totalling 35rides and 86rides over the two days.
Saturday was baking hot, but heavy overnight rain made conditions a bit more representative of trialling weather on sunday morning before it dried out.
Sporting trials is incredible difficult to master, but Julian Fack commented that a young James Lewis from Hereford stepped into a sporting trials car for the first time and excelled with some brilliant driving in such a short time period.
