- The Loughborough Car Club Sporting Trial which ran on Sunday 15th February for the second year was observed for inclussion to the BTRDA Championship. Following lessons learnt from the inaugral event, it was felt that the event would meet the standards expected from the BTRDA. Although the site is limited the club is making a significant efforts to extract the most out of the site. BTRDA Sporting Trial committee chairman Julian Fack said that it was great to have a totally new club keen to run an event for us, and we hope that the event flourishes in the future with its inclusion in our championship from 2010. Those that competed this year commended the standard and challenge the event offered.
- The Northern Pheonix Trials Car Club Jigger Jug trial that was scheduled to run on Sunday 8th February was cancelled due to snow. Sunday 3rd May is the first day of the twenty seventh running of NPTCC's "Two-day" trial and results from the first day will count towards the BTRDA Championship instead of the cancelled Jigger Jug. This offers competitors the opportunity to score points whilst travelling to the light-hearted weekend of trialling on the May bank holiday weekend.
